On-Demand, 1-to-1 Tutoring Anytime, Anywhere

In development since 2014, Ms. Allison's Tiny Desk was founded in 2021 and has served over 170 students and their families through a variety of support systems proven to simultaneously impact student achievement, parental empowerment, and community revitalization.  Inspired by exploring a family heirloom at the age of 5.  Founder and Owner/Operator Allison Flores would dream of one day becoming a teacher in her Sunnyside neighborhood.  "This is my tiny desk, and I'm going to have my BIG imagination at this tiny desk!"  This was the affirmation that would manifest into the actualization of today.  The success of the organization is a multi-faceted approach that focuses on the integration of academic and social needs while recognizing the value and tich resources that are provided right in our own communities.  Starting as a grassroots organization focused on community activism and intentional impact.  Ms. Allison's Tiny Desk has made a not-so-tiny impact in the Sunnyside, Third Ward, and Kashmere Gardens neighborhoods of Houston.  Through partnerships with local Houston organizations such as Chick-fil-A, the Houston Public Library, Starbucks, and Worthing High School, the contributions are growing in support of this 'tiny desk' on its mission to give back what was once given.  Witnessing the power that can be harnessed when students and their families are supported as a greater part of the local community.  Ms. Allison understands that providing an outlet and building relationships in a comfortable and safe environment provides many with hope.  At Ms. Allison's Tiny Desk, We Are 1!  We know that learning, growing, and moving as one will benefit the community at large for generations to come.  Ms. Allison's Tiny Desk is a registered non-profit business in the State of Texas.
